Pupil, Staff and Parent Voice

As a school we are always striving to provide the best possible learning experiences for our children. We put wellbeing and all pupil voice at the centre of everything we do. Pupil voice is the road to change. At St. Mary’s not only do we value pupil voice, we also listen to our staff and parent voice when considering school policies, procedures and improvement. We endeavour to listen and connect with our families wishes, feelings and views in order to continually reflect and improve practice.
Our parents, pupils and staff voice feeds into our school development plan and are also central to our Monitoring schedule planner. Here are just some examples of the ways we gather stakeholder voice.
Whenever we share a performance or Collective Worship with our wider school community we collect thoughts of those who were watching. This has been especially uplifting recently as we have had to to share all our performances and Collective Worship online through Teams.
Watch this video to hear what some of our parents think about St Mary's.
This was without a doubt the best Teams meeting I have ever attended - and I've been to thousands! My parents were able to watch too, in Kent, and they have sent a message to say how wonderful it was. Being able to see the whole class together was brilliant. And I didn't even need to book any time off work to be able to attend!
Year 6 your assembly was excellent, I really enjoyed it !!! You all spoke so clearly and what a lovely message about friendship!! Well done!!
What a wonderful assembly, you all spoke so clearly and thoughtfully about your own families and the family you have built within your school. Well done! I enjoyed seeing such happy smiling faces and your pictures of all the teachers. What hard work must have gone in! Well done.
What an absolutely beautiful assembly, I was beaming with pride from start to finish. I feel so proud of every single member of the class! I loved the children's dancing and final song....what a happy song! What an absolutely beautiful assembly, I was beaming with pride from start to finish.
